Yet another Origins article!
I kept my promise and here's the second Pokémon Origins: Prehistoric Pokémon article. I hope you enjoy reading this as much as I enjoyed writing it.
Perhaps some of you might be wondering why so many creatues have not survived to our days; its something I neglected to mention in the first article of the series. There are certain events in Earth's life that are called Mass Extinctions. These are marked by major catastrophs caused by volcanic activity, asteroid impacts, variations of global temperature etc. There have been at least five major Extinction events that repeatedly wiped out up to 96% of earth's species and eventually cleared the way for mammals' domination.
