Pikachu-colored Pichu WiFi event!
According to the official website, European players of Pokémon Diamond, Pearl and Platinum will be able to download the Pikachu-colored Pichu, essentially a shiny Pichu, into their games between March 5th and March 25th. It is currently unknown whether this event also applies to the rest of the world. The event is confirmed to work on American and Australian games as well.

This special Pichu, when traded to forthcoming games HeartGold & SoulSilver, will allow the player to access the elusive Spiky-eared Pichu.

Spyros!!! Do NOT evolve that Pikachu shiny pichu, when you trade that "pikachu to HG/SS it will not unlock the spiky ear pichu, which is the most rare pokemon right now. If you evolve it to a Pikachu you cant get the pichu in the Ilex forest! Evolve it after you get the spiky ear pichu!

I'm afraid once Wi-Fi events are over, the chances of redistribution are zero. You could always trade them from somewhere with duplicates though.
