Chespin, Fennekin and Froakie's types
The official Pokémon X/Y website has confirmed that Chespin, Fennekin and Froakie are pure Grass-, Fire- and Water-type respectively. Considering Bulbasaur is the only first stage starter Pokémon with a secondary type, that was more or less expected. Sugimori artwork of all three starters and the two legendary Pokémon has also been added to the site, check them out below:
However, no news have been revealed concerning the types of Xerneas and Yveltal. February's CoroCoro issue specifically teases about their typing with a few question marks. Could they have two never before seen type combinations? Could they introduce a new type? What do you think?

Chespin is a grass, dark type, Fennekin is a fire, psychic type, and froakie is a water, fighting type. This could mean they are both super and not very effective to each other to counter them.

I have a feeling Xerneas is going to be Grass and Psychic and Yveltal is going to be Fire and Dark.

Chespin evolves into a grass ground type. Fennekin is going to evolve into a fire psychic type. Froakie is evolving into a water fighting type. Hope this helps!

Pokemon are wonderful, and I can not wait to VI of Part pokemon.
I am from another country so unas will be later than in England.

They look like they could fit into the types already available, so probably a combo we haven't seen yet.

Even if these pokemon are awesome I'm always gonna use Pikachu! He's sexy and passionate. Damn if he was a liitle taller and knew some grass moves…
