Gamefreak hiring artists.
Apparently, Gamefreak is on the look for artists experienced in both 2D and 3D game design. This could be a regular job opening in order to expand their staff, or a sign that there's yet another Pokémon game in the works. To be honest, these days, all game studios have the next game in the works before finishing their current projects.
This however, could be related to Tsunekazu Ishihara's statement that a new Wii game will be revealed soon. Although Gamefreak does not directly develop any Pokémon games other than the handheld RPGs, they did team up with Genius Sorority in the making of Pokémon Battle Revolution. Whether they're working on a new Wii game, or a 3D enhanced DSi game, is unknown, but nonetheless the Pokémon locomotive is going strong.

Oak's Letter global WiFi event!

If you have an American, European or Australian Pokémon Platinum version, then hurry up and download Oak's Letter before November 8th! This key item allows you to go beyond Route 224 and access the natural habitat of Shaymin. This event also allows you to obtain the Gracidea flower in Floaroma Town, which helps Shaymin transform into its Sky Forme.
To enable Mystery Gift, go to Jubilife City, on the 3rd floor of the TV building, there is a TV producer. The correct answer to their question is: Everybody Happy followed by: Wi-Fi Connection. Then, after saving the game, Mystery Gift can be found on the Game Menu under Continue and New Game. A wireless internet connection is required; if you don't have one at home check your local Starbucks or Mc Donalds for free Wi-Fi.

New surprise set
A new surpise set was added to Butterfree PotW. I wanted to present this later on this year, but after a discussion with Ninjomewtwo we decided to post it today because we want the copyright!

Oak's Letter Download for US Platinum
As announced yesterday by the official Pokémon website, "Oak's Letter", the item giving you access to the Flower Paradise (and thus, Shaymin), will be available for download from September 28th to November 8th. Once you obtain the item, go to the north end of Route 224, where Prof. Oak will be waiting. After that, you'll be able to go to the Flower Paradise where you can encounter Shaymin at Lv.30. If you have an american Pokémon Platinum version, be sure not to miss it!
Also, note that the Shaymin caught in Flower Paradise can be changed to its Sky Forme by using the Gracidea Flower on it.
