Credits to my opponent for using mainly UU Pokemon. As you saw both of us played in a way strange to the current metagame which is full of predictable Pokemon and Attacks. A lot of great mind games occured (Whirlwind on Ninjask, Lunar Dance to avoid Mean Look, Vaporeon to a predicted Surf, Suction caps to a predicted Whirlwind, Destiny Bond to break the Batton Passing chain) and that's why the game was so awesome!

Interesting match.Btw what is Lunar Dance?I didn't get what happened in that part of the battle.

Lunar Dance is a move learnt by Cresselia. When she uses this move, she faints but the next Pokemon comes out with Full HP, PP and without any status effect. I usually use this when one of my sweepers has very little HP and/or low PP (for exmple Dragonite's Extremespeed). In this case, I was trapped by mean look. My Cresselia had only supporting moves. My opponent had the opportunity to Taunt me and then proceed in setting up his dangerous Batton Passing chain. In order to escape that situation I used Lunar Dance. Cresselia fainted, but her sacrifice helped me escape from the Mean Look - Button Pass chain.

Pretty interesting match I have to say. Especially the LunarDanceCress seems really nice, though I believe it could have lasted longer(its job was done, but some defence in the remaining match would be nice - I mean rather than using reflect you could switch back to scizor at the point). I think it could be also used effectively with some strong sweepers. For example, you start the match with something like salamence/scizor/tyranitar, kick as much as possible, let it die and when needed revive it with cresselia to own the remaining team. I'm definitely gonna try it out

I've always thought it(as well as healing wish) could revive a pokemon. I didn't get the chance to use them though, so...
Anyways, the strategy remains pretty much the same, however the sweeper can be just weakened(just like you mentioned a few posts before)

I would use a Lunar Dance-using Cresselia,but I am currently trying to create a Sandstorm team.The problem is that Sandstorm makes Moolight is useless...But I will definitely add it to my Sunny Day team!
