With a lot more colors than the previous versions, 100 brand new Pokémon and a lot of new features this game was considered the best Pokémon game ever. Graphical day/night, built in clock, time/day based events, in-game radio tuner and in-game cellular phone that allowed to re-match some trainers and finally a whole new world (Johto) to explore together with the old one (Kanto) were some of the new features plus a new promo Pokémon: Celebi.The bad guys in this game are Team Rocket again, which seems to be missing Giovanni's leadership from the Red/Blue era. The starters in this game are: Cyndaquil, Chikorita and Totodile.
