Webmasters' Zone: "How much has Pokémon influenced your life?"
Several well-known webmasters were invited to write an article about their Pokémon life. Here follow the invitation they received and their replies. If you are also a webmaster and want to participate in this then Contact Us and send your own article (we cannot guarantee it will be published though).
It's been 10 whole years since the first Pokémon game was released and now, in about a month, a new Generation of Pokémon games is going to be released, hopefully to re-new the interest of many fans. All these years though, there have been some people that decided to dedicate a major part of their time into researching the games, developing programs or creating numerous webpages. Some decided to leave the Pokémon scene and move on with their lives while others still have some time to spare, they all have some things in common though: their lives were influenced by the Pokémon phenomenon.
I am planning to host a group of articles by (hopefuly) many webmasters with the general subject "How much has Pokémon influenced your life?". The guests may also write about every other subject they want, the Pokémon phenomenon in general, their expectations from the Pokémon community, the upcomming games etc. I thought it would be really interesting for the fans to compare the thoughts of many well known webmasters gathered in one place. As for myself, Pokémon has been an everyday part of my life for the last 7 years, yet not prohibiting me from having many other interests and many friends. Take your time to decide whether you want to join this project or not; I currently intent to upload them upon the release of Diamond/Pearl. Feel free to invite anyone else you think that might be interested in this. Thank you anyway for spending some of your time reading this message.
